With the exception of family, education is perhaps the most important and cherished journey our lives. We believe education should be a customary opportunity for all individuals to be formally taught basic subjects and beyond– reaching their highest potential or desire.
Regardless of when your formal education started or ended, we can recall instances when we had slip-ups, which we affectionally defined as Lessons Learned, and wished we could hit replay. There are thousands of “to do” guidance, instructional, and educational resources available including books, magazines, websites, TV networks and experts to tell you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, what to buy, and where to find it. Our goal is simple–to help you achieve your goals, reduce stress, and save time and money by learning what “not to do” when faced with or thinking about a school situation, task, decision, or idea.
In these tough times, with record high job losses, home foreclosures, business closings, natural disasters, and an economic meltdown, even the smallest mistakes we make can be exacerbated and have a lasting and devastating effect. This is a critical time for us to focus on lessening and avoiding mistakes. Learning what not to do from others can have a positive impact on how we respond to situations and the outcome. We are inspired to create this platform for individuals to share their real-life Lessons Learned because we believe one of the best ways to overcome a mistake is by helping others avoid them.
